3 lbs. of 1/4 in. venison cubed or ground
1/2 onion chopped
1 green pepper cut into cubes
1/2 bottle chili sauce
2 cans whole tomatoes, drained
3/4 stalk chopped celery
1 tablespoon sugar
4 cans kidney beans (or chili beans)
Salt and pepper to taste
Chili powder to taste
1 8 oz. can chopped mushrooms drained
Place meat, onions, peppers in frying pan and brown. Put rest of ingredients in kettle and simmer all day. Add beans last, just heat until beans are hot and serve.
